About Channing Crowder


Channing CrowderChanning Crowder is a retired NFL football player. Channing spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Miami Dolphins. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Florida from 2003-2004 and was named one of ESPN’s All-American Linebackers, a First-Team All-SEC Defensive selection (coaches), and Second-Team All-SEC selection by the Associated Press in 2004.

Crowder, has leveraged his success on the field into a promising radio/TV career. He has established himself as a South Florida radio personality with natural talent and unique ability to entertain listeners. He is currently the host of“The Channing Crowder Show” airing daily Monday through Friday from 3:00pm – 7:00pm on Beasley Broadcast’s 560 WQAM. Channing is known for his humor and outgoing persona which grabs the public’s attention. The Miami Herald quoted, “The Dolphin Linebacker dishes out the type of candor and laugh-out-loud humor that reporters have come to expect from him.” He has also appeared on NFL Network’s Top 100 Players segment; Super Bowl’s Radio Row and was a guest host on Sports Rap Live for CBS 4.

Channing is committed to making a difference in the South Florida Community. His charitable involvement extends from making public appearances to supporting local charities such as the Sun-Sentinel Children’s Fund, and the Boy’s and Girls Clubs of Broward County. In 2012, Channing hosted his first annual Holiday Toy Drive benefiting the member families of the Lester H. White Boys & Girls Club/NFL Youth Education Town.

Channing is married to Aja Crowder and the two have a son named Randolph Channing Crowder the III and a newborn Daughter named Ava Crowder.
